Brian Pask, who died aged 86 in early 2024 first submitted photos to the site in 2010, initially those taken in and around Southend but later others taken around the country.
He was born in Southend in 1937 and lived in the town for about 35 years. He took an interest in the local buses and trolleybuses from an early age and started photographing them in 1951, his first photo being of a Westcliff AEC Regent at the route 9 terminus at the top of his road. One of his claims to fame is that he was on Southend's last trolleybus on 25th October 1954!
He moved to Ilford in 1974 but continued to keep in touch with events in Southend.
As well as photos, Brian had a keen interest in bus tickets and published a number of books on the subject.
