This rather exotic looking City Coach G3, UW7590, might also have been used on the London-Southend route, but is seen here somewhere in the country carrying a blind for Laindon Station.
UW7590 was a 1929 Gilford 1680T acquired with the business of Brentwood & District MS in 1936. It had been new to Jacobs, E1 and also worked for Southend Express Carriers and Multiways. It left the City fleet in 1939.
