A bit modern for sct61, but included to show Stratford Broadway some 25 years after John Boylett's trolleybus photos. East London Coaches liveried Titan T63, WYV63T, lays over at Stratford Church between duties on special service 723X to Lakeside.
The bus was one of a small number of East London Titans (including one ex-West Midlands) converted with single doors, coach seating and (I think) improved transmission for private hire and excursion duties. Route 723X was a fairly short lived attempt to provide a direct link from east London to the large Lakeside shopping centre at Thurrock. As far as I can remember it ran during the weeks leading up to Christmas for one year only.
