Southend Fleetline 349, WJN349J, outside Leigh Station on a 23a to Eastwood Rise in mid 1984. This is one of the withdrawn vehicles reinstated during the 1984 rail strike.
Note the number and via points blind boxes are painted over, a yellow "strike board" in the windscreen giving the route number and route details and also the orange panel advertising the X1 below the drivers window.
