Leyland PS2 BCP829 is being used here by Wallasey Welfare Department. It appears to have been modified for one man operation while still in PSV use and has later been modified somewhat at the rear, possibly in connection with fitting a wheel chair lift.
Originally Hebble BCP829, a Leyland PS2/3 with Willowbrook B33F body new in 1950 which was sold to Great Yarmouth in September 1962, ... picture here ... then sold to T.P.E. (dealer) in May 1963 but repurchased in July 1963 and finally withdrawn in 1965 passing to Wallasey Corporation in May as a non-P.S.V. with the Welfare Department.
