New to Sheffield United Tours in May 1935 this AEC 665 Ranger, AWJ235, had been rebuilt to forward control layout and rebodied with a Harrington C33F body in May 1949 for Sherriff, Gainsborough.

New in 1954 as Sheffield United 231 with a Duple C41C body, RWE231 was rebodied with a Plaxton Panorama C41F body in March 1963 for Eddie Brown, Helperby.

Sheffield United operated the very first Plaxton Panorama bodied coaches and 285, 3285WB, seen here in Waterdale, Doncaster was an AEC MU3RV Reliance with C41F body, new in February 1958, from the first delivery. It was one of six new that year between January and May (285-290, 3285-3290WB).
