Sleeping in the summer sun in its final months of service, thus able to avoid imminent NBC reorganisation and white livery is Sheffield United Tours 332, 332BWB, an AEC Reliance 2U3RA with very comfortable Plaxton Panorama C44F body new in May 1962.
SUT was a pioneer and regular buyer of the Panorama from its first concept, in contrast to Wallace Arnold who continued with various Embassy models.
The location here immediately below Pond Street Bus Station appears to have been developed for university use, Sheffield Midland Station seen in the background has rightly survived longer than the Sheaf Valley Baths behind the coach, now demolished. A distinctive but unknown Duple bodied coach passes on the main road, Sheaf Street.
