LHY976 is a Bristol L5G with ECW dual door 33 seat body, new to Bristol Tramways & Carriage company in 1949, the only company who had dual doorway bodies on post-war standard ECW Bristol L types for Bristol City services.
Later C2736 became country bus 2495 but saw out its service life with 2 doors. It entered preservation straight from service. Part of Mike Walker's collection it was at Kingsbridge 2024 for it's first public appearance since undergoing a 5 year over-haul
