It is a Bedford VAL14 with a Duple Vega Major C52F body, new in August 1966, and was was one of the thirty-five coaches which Barton, Chilwell, had acquired with the Hall Brothers, South Shields, and the Taylor Brothers, North Shields, businesses on 13th July 1967.

Withdrawn in 1974 it passed to Kirkby (dealer), Anston in April 1974, and to Berriman, Langtoft in April 1975, being withdrawn in May 1979.
