John Boylett Memorial Collection Part 4 - 1963

Barton, Chilwell 921, KNN749, seen in Huntingdon Street Bus Station in Nottingham, was an A.E.C. 9621A Regal III which had been new to Robin Hood, Nottingham in March 1949 with a Burlingham C33F body.
The Duple FC35F body was fitted in June 1954 when it was still with Robin Hood, from whom it was acquired in October 1961 when the business was acquired, An A.E.C. 7.7 litre engine was fitted in 1962, and it was withdrawn in 1964, passing to Burrows (contractor) Ilkeston as number 13, around November 1964.
