Between November 1970 and June 1971, Southend Corporation hired two single deckers from Bournemouth Corporation, NLJ267, seen here, and NLJ268. They were Leyland Royal Tiger PSU1/13 with Burlingham B42F bodies, new in December 1953, and retained their Bournemouth livery while with Southend.
