A location which was (and still is) rural was South Fambridge, down by the River Crouch. It had a minimal service (originally Westcliff 11, later 13) on route 7B. Here Southend Fleetline 364, WJN364J, turns in the yard of the Anchor Hotel before returning to Southend Central Station.
