The last Crossley bodies to be built seated H33/28R and were supplied to Stockport, fitted to Leyland PD2/30 chassis in August 1958 as Stockport's first new 'deckers since 1951. Seen here at Chorlton Street bus station is 337, NDB360, with a Leylend bodied PD2 on the left and a Crossley bodied DD42 on the right.
Of the batch of ten buses 337-342 & 333-336, NDB360-369, the last six were collected in a part completed condition and finished by Stockport in their works having sent ex-Crossley staff to the almost deserted Crossley stores section to collect the missing parts. 333-336, NDB366-369, took the numbers vacated by the renumbering of the single deckers.
