Great Orme Tramway car 4 approaches the summit of the lower section.
Note the absence of overhead wire compared to earlier views. Although all cars had trolley poles connected to the overhead, this was purely for telegraphic communication between the cars and the winding houses. Communication is now by induction loop radio control.
