Thomas, West Ewell 649CNW a 1962 A.E.C. 2MU3RA Reliance with a Harrington Cavalier C43F body, seen here in Stoneleigh Park Road, Stoneleigh, whilst working a rail replacement service, had been acquired from Austin, Dorking, in whose livery it is seen, in July 1975.
When new it ran for Wallace Arnold, Leeds on hire from Stanley Hughes (dealer) during the 1962 season. On return to Hughes in October 1962 it passed to Kirkham, Church 11/62; Jones, Login 3/68; Killick & Vincent, Dallington 1/72; Austin, Dorking 12/72 and then to Thomas.
