Another rural location, the Sutton Schools terminus of route 9b, with Southend Fleetline 370, WJN370J, waiting to return to Southend Central Bus Station.
This route was introduced by Westcliff just after the war and passed to Southend with the co-ordination scheme in 1954. It has long gone, although the current (and very infrequent) route to Canewdon runs via Sutton and passes within half a mile of the schools.
