McLennan, Spittalfield XWA488 was a Commer Avenger III with a Duple Corinthian C41F body seen at their garage at Spittalfield.
It was acquired, in March 1961, from Rennie, Cairneyhill but had been new to Kirkby, Harthill in May 1956, passing to Rennie in late 1958.
The vehicle alongside is ex-Southdown HUF290.
