1. CRD253 ... New as Reading 59 in 1947, CRD253 had been acquired by McLennan, Spittalfield in 1963 and is seen at the garage. It was a Park Royal L24/26R bodied AEC Regent II to which platform doors were fitted by McLennan before entry into service.

2. GDK9 ... McLennan, Spittalfield GDK9 was a Leyland PS1 with Burlingham C33F body new to Yelloway Rochdale in December 1947 and acquired in April 1958.

3. GDK301 ... New to Yelloway, Rochdale in 1948 with a Trans United C33F body, GDK301, arrived with McLennan, Spittalfield in April 1958 and ran in service for a short while before being sold to Duncan, Kinloch Rannoch in 1959, returning to McLennan in February 1963. On its return it was rebodied with the McLennan B36F body seen in this shot in Dundee. It was again withdrawn and passed to Edgar, Dundee as a non-P.S.V. possibly on loan, by May 1972. It returned once more by January 1974 and was still licensed in 1977.

4. HD7862 ... McLennan, Spittalfield 74, HD7862, was one of a pair of Leyland PS1s with Brush B34F bodies acquired from Yorkshire Woollen District, Dewsbury in December 1955.

5. HUF290 ... Beadle bodied Leyland PS1, HUF290, seen here with McLennan, Spitalfield had been new as Southdown 1290 in 1949 as C32R. Along with the rest of the batch (1290-1298) it was rebuilt by Beadle in 1954/5 to FC32R. Acquired from Rennie, Cairneyhill in June 1963 and rebuilt to FC35F by McLennan it was withdrawn in 1968.

6. JXN363 ... McLennan, Spittalfield 95, JXN363, was aquired in July 1958 from the London Transport Executive, where it had been RTL40.

10. KON893 ... McLennan, Spittalfield KON893 was a Seddon Mark IV with a Plaxton M1/50 C28F body which had been new in August 1950 to Taylor, Henwick Mill, Worcester, passing to Kyles of Bute Bus Company sometime in 1957 and then to McLennan in May 1963. It is seen here at Spittalfield after its withdrawal which had taken place in May 1964, and after it had been repainted overall dark blue.

11. LYF115 ... Seen on the chassis cleaning ramp at Spittalfield is McLennan's newly acquired LYF115, a Leyland 7RT with Park Royal H30/26R body new in March 1951, which was acquired from Dunoon Motor Services.

12. LYF89 ... Acquired from London Transport in 1963, McLennan's LYF89, a Leyland 7RT with Park Royal H30/26R body, RTL1148, is seen at Spittalfield with platform doors which McLennan had fitted before entry into service.

13. XS7068 ... McLennan, Spittalfield 92, XS7068, was a Commer Q4 with Scottish Aviation C33F body new in 1950. It was acquired from MacKenzie brothers, Ullapool in 1958. Withdrawn later in 1959 it passed to Loventor School, Totnes, Devon.

14. DGS625 ... Leyland PS1/3, DGS625, new in 1951 carried a McLennan C39F body adapted for one man operation and is seen at Spittalfield.

16. ECK179 ... ECK179, seen at Spittalfield, was acquired in 1965 from Kerr & Smith, Coatbridge who had acquired it from Ribble, Preston 899 in November 1962. McLennan rebuilt it to C41F before putting it into service in May 1966.

17. NTC445 ... McLennan, Spittalfield 80, NTC445, seen in Perth, was a Leyland PSU1/13 Royal Tiger with a Bellhouse Hartwell Landmaster II C41C body which had been new in July 1951 to Hart, Coppull.

18. NTC445 ... Acquired by McLennan, Spittalfeld in late 1957/early 1958 from its original operator Hart, Coppull, NTC445 was a Leyland PSU1/15 Royal Tiger with a Bellhouse Hartwell Landmaster C41C body which had been new in July 1951. McLennan withdrew it in January 1970 and it is seen here at Spittalfield after withdrawal prior to its being cannibalised by McLennan.

19. MBY910 ... MBY910 had been new to Homeland Tours, Croydon in June 1954, one of two Leyland PSUC1/2 Tiger Cubs with Strachans Everest C41C bodies. It passed to Bourne & Balmer, Croydon when the Homeland business was aquired in April 1955 and to Timpson, London S.E.6 in April 1960 when the Bourne & Balmer business was acquired. Timpson withdrew it in October 1964 and it passed to Horlock, Northfleet in June 1965 before reaching McLennan in February 1966. It was seen at McLennan's garage at Spittalfield.

20. VS6440 ... Seen at Spittalfield is VS6440, a Duple Elizabethan C41C bodied Atkinson PL745H Alpha which had been new in November 1954 to Doig, Greenock. It passed to Blair & Palmer, Carlisle in May 1963, to MacRae, Fortrose in June 1967 and to McLennan in 1968, entering service in July 1969.
