The infamous Blackburn Transport 19, TRJ110, wearing its East Lancs Atlantean front end following accident damage, turns right from Preston New Road into West Park Road for the climb around Corporation Park.
The bus was new to Salford Corporation as their number 110, became SELNEC 73 and joined the Darwen Corporation fleet as number 23 before becoming Blackburn 19 in 1974 making it a possible contender for the most renumbered AEC single-deck bus. Unfortunately, a second accident shortly after this picture was taken ended its career.
