Stevenson, Spath, 05 TTT780, an A E C Regent V MD3RV built in 1956 with Metro-Cammell bodywork.
Whilst the major operators often converted vehicles for further use as towing or tree-loppers, it was relatively unusual for an independent to do this. However, former Devon General DR780 was converted by Stevenson in 1977 for use as a tree cutter, seeing about 5 years service in its new role.
