Originally ordered by Midland General it was diverted to Crosville when new in 1950 as their KA227. Renumbered ETE927, and later STE927 it was withdrawn in 1964, passing to dealer Frank Cowley then to an unknown owner in East Sussex, before being acquired for non-psv use by Buchan by 1965.
Though quoted in the PSV Circle's Crosville fleet history as owned until 1968, it was clearly still battling on when seen here parked in Century Road, Elland in April 1971.
