Lord Street, Huddersfield forms the setting for County Motors, Lepton 75, HE9917, a Guy Arab II with a Roe L27/26R body. It had been acquired from Yorkshire Traction 720 in June 1956, having been new in January 1945.

CCX931 was a Guy Arab II (6LW), new in 1947 to County Motors, Lepton as number 71, and passed to Everett, South Kirkby (United Services) in March 1958.

County Motors 73, DVH752, seen here in Dewsbury was a Leyland PS1 with Roe B32F body and was the first of six new in 1948. It was withdrawn in 1959 and passed eventually into preservation in 1974.

County Motors, Lepton 74, DVH 753, was the second of six similar buses new in late 1948/early 1949. It was a Leyland PS1 with a Roe B32F body and entered service in January 1949.

Seen outside the offices of the Roe works, at Manston Lane, Crossgates, is County Motors, Lepton 81, ECX607, the third of four Guys new in 1949. It was a Guy Arab III with a Roe L27/26R body, all four entering service in June.

In December 1949 County Motors, Lepton took delivery of four Leyland PS2/1s with Roe bodies and 84, EVH212, the second of the four, first licensed in March 1950, is seen, before delivery, near the Roe works in Manston Lane, Crossgates.

County, Lepton 86, EVH214, seen at Wembley Stadium was a Leyland PS2/1 which had been rebodied in 1954 with this Windover Huntingdon FC35F body. When new in 1949 it had a Roe B32F body and it was rebodied along with similar bus 85, EVH213.

Yorkshire Traction 389, WVH230, a Leyland Leopard PSU3/3R built in 1962 with Willowbrook B54F bodywork. This had been new as 101 with County Motors of Lepton.

Yorkshire Traction 745, AVH635B, a 1964 Leyland Titan PD3A/1 with front entrance Roe bodywork. This bus came to Yorkshire Traction in 1968 from the County Motors of Huddersfield fleet when it was absorbed by YTC.

County Motors 106, AVH636B, a Leyland PD3A/1 with Roe H42/31F body, new in 1964. It passed to Yorkshire Traction with the rest of the fleet on 1st October 1968.

Yorkshire Traction 598, KCX263E, was a Leyland PSUC1/12 Tiger Cub with a Marshall DP45F body which had been new in January 1967 to County Motors, Lepton as number 113, passing to Yorkshire Traction as 598 in October 1968 (PB21/78), or January 1969 (PB21/18).
