FW Hall, Markfield SHT347 was a Bristol LS6G with ECW C39F bodywork, one of ten new to Bristol Tramways & Carriage Co (renamed Bristol Omnibus Co in 1957) in 1954.
New with fleet no 2874, it was renumbered 2096 in March 1961. It passed to J Morgan (Private Hire) Ltd, Corse Lawn, in December 1965, then BL & RE Rowland, Bilsthorpe in February 1967 before joining Hall, Markfield in October 1968. Another of the batch, 2090 (SHT 341), had also passed from Bristol to Morgan in December 1965 and then direct to Hall, Markfield, in May 1967, being withdrawn in June 1968 after an accident. One can but speculate that the acquisition of SHT 347 in October 1968 was a one for one replacement for the prematurely withdrawn SHT 341.
