Brighton Corporation 77, WCD77 .......in a recent post regarding opo use of the Corporation's PD2s Malcolm Pelling mentioned the failed attempt to convert one of the rear entrance PD2s to forward entrance for opo use.
Much work was done, but it failed to gain a certificate of fitness, I think (but I may be wrong!) because it retained the rear staircase, and was eventually scrapped
This is the only photo I've ever seen of it, which I took 'over the wall' from Bear Road on January 12th 1972 when the vehicle was parked in the yard at the Lewes Road garage.
