
Bradford tram No.236 is seen gliding up Main Street, Bingley, approaching the junction with Park Road off to the left.
No.236 was a 4-bay 'Preston' car with English Electric 65 seat (43/22) bodywork. It was one of 46 similar cars delivered between October 1919 and August 1921 (Nos.213-258). The last trams to Bingley operated on Saturday 6th May 1939, and were replaced by trolleybuses the following day. (Information from J S King's "Bradford Corporation Tramways").
