A recent discussion has centred on the door arrangement on preserved Southdown 547. For comparison purposes, this is former Bamber Bridge Motor Service No 4, UTC672, owned at the time by Cumbria Classic Coaches and named 'Peter'.
It is an AEC Regent III with East Lancs L27/28RD bodywork which was new to BBMS in January 1955 and had been with CCC since November 2008.
It is seen laying over at the terminus of the 572 service from Ravenstonedale.
