Ashton-under-Lyne 62, FTE646, is a Sunbeam W originally delivered in October 1944 with a Park Royal H30/26R body. In January 1958 it re-entered service with a new Roe H33/28R body as seen in the picture. Withdrawal came in December 1965 with disposal to Autospares of Bingley, Yorkshire.
The image is simply captioned Manchester but 62 has just left the Portland Street terminus heading for Fairfield Street and Ashton Old Road operating a 218 service to Ashton.
