These pictures are from the Wimborne Railway Society Archive, some 30,000 prints that the members rescued from destruction of which around 10,000 are buses including a few hundred from the 1950s and 1960s (and some trams).
The collection is the work of three friends who travelled the world photographing trains and some buses. They would travel in the summer and spend the winter printing their own negatives mostly to postcard size but a few early buses are on 3x2. As each one passed away the collection ended up with the last survivor until he too died.
