1. LRW377 ... Samuel Ledgard LRW377 was an ex-demonstrator Daimler Freeline with a Duple B36D body new in 1951 and is seen at the Weston Estate terminus of the service from Otley Bus Station on which it was a regular performer with Ledgard arriving in 1956 and serving until 1960. (Sun 30/6/57, Weston Estate Terminus, Otley)
2. LRW377 ... Ledgard, Armley LRW377, a Daimler G6HS Freeline with a Duple B36D body, is seen in Otley on the Weston Estate service. This had been a Daimler demonstrator new in October 1951 and was acquired in July 1956 from Transport Vehicles (Daimler) Ltd. (Sun 30/6/57, Otley)

4. LWR840 ... Seen on the parking area at the Coliseum Bus Station in Blackpool is Pyne, Harrogate LWR840, a Daimler D650HS Freeline with a Burlingham Seagull C39C body which had been new in July 1952. (Mon 15/4/63, Coliseum Bus Station, Blackpool)
5. LWW571 ... LWW571 was a Daimler G6HS Freeline with a Burlingham DP44F body and was number 15 in the fleet of Pepper, Thurnscoe to whom it was new in October 1952. It was the third bus body to be built by Burlingham on an underfloor engined chassis and is seen in Barnsley Bus Station having just arrived from Thurnscoe. (Sat 9/5/59, Barnsley Bus Station)
6. LWW571 ... A nearside rear view of LWW571, a Daimler G6HS Freeline with a Burlingham DP44F body, seen on the parking ground close to Barnsley Bus Station. This was the third bus body built by Burlingham on an underfloor engined chassis and was number 15 in the fleet of Pepper, Thurnscoe to whom it was new in October 1952. 8. NAL782 ... Gash, Newark D06, NAL782, was the first of a pair of Daimler D650HS coaches with Burlingham Seagull C41C bodies new in May and July 1952 respectively, seen on a visit to Gash's garage. (Sun 13/8/67, Gash's Garage, Bowbridge Road, Newark)
9. PDD472 ... A rear view of PDD472 seen here with Foster, Glastonbury. It was a Daimler D650HS Freeline with a Duple Elizabethan C41C body. (Tue 27/7/71)
10. FHS883 ... When I took this photograph back in 1975 I thought it would remain a mystery for ever until it came up in comments on a totally unrelated vehicle. I had noted the registration as FHS883 on a previous visit without my camera, and it was recognisable as a Daimler Freeline from the wheel trims, with obviously a Burlingham Seagull body, but that was as far as I got at the time. 11. KBE319 ... Grimsby-Cleethorpes 128, KBE319, a Daimler D650HS Freeline with a Roe B43F body had been new in June 1953 as Cleethorpes 28, passing to Grimsby-Cleethorpes on 1st January 1957. (Sun 21/6/64, Victoria Street South, Grimsby)
12. LCE800 ... A poor shot of Mansfield, Burling & Welsh (Burwell & District) LCE800, which was a Daimler D650HS Freeline with a Plaxton Venturer II C41C body new in May 1953, seen here in Burwell. (Sun 11/9/66, Burwell)
13. LGA405 ... LGA405, seen with A.E. Gillard, Normanton, was a Daimler D650HS Freeline with a Duple Coronation Ambassador body, new in 1953 to Northern Roadways, Glasgow, when its configuration was C30CT. (Sat 14/2/59, Millgarth Street Car Park, Leeds)
14. PLG967 ... A more unusual interior from SHMD here, an interior view of their solitary Freeline. This was new as 67, PLG967, but renumbered 105 when all the single-deckers were grouped together. It was a Daimler Freeline G6H with a Northern Counties B34+26C body. (Sun 30/8/70, Tame Street Garage, Stalybridge)
15. PLG967 ... S.H.M.D. 67, PLG967, a Daimler G6HS Freeline with a Northern Counties B34+27C standee body new in 1953 seen at St. Michaels' Square, Ashton. (Sat 14/3/59, St. Michael's Square, Ashton)
16. JDN712 ... A while ago, JDN712, the Reliance of York Daimler Freeline was mentioned and doubt was expressed over the manufacturer of its body, but was confirmed as being by Duple. (c.1962, Exhibition Square, York)
17. KHR782 ... Rare bird Swindon Corporation 82, KHR782, was the second of four Daimler Freeline D650HS with Park Royal B34C body new in January 1954, though delivered the previous month. (Sat 12/9/70, Corporation Street Depot, Swindon)
18. NVE1 ... A rear view of NVE1, a Willowbrook C41C bodied Daimler D650HS Freeline, new in 1954, in the fleet of Mansfield, Burling & Welsh, Burwell (t/a Burwell & District). (Sun 11/9/66)
19. NVE1 ... Burwell & District Motor Services of Burwell, Cambridgeshire had three Daimler Freelines. NVE1 was a D650HS model & was new in March 1955 with this rather stubby looking Willowbrook C41C coachwork. (Thu 1/4/71, Depot, Burwell)
20. RVM37 ... Stevenson, Spath RVM37 was a Daimler D650HS Freeline with a Duple Elizabethan C41C body seen at their garage. (Sun 16/7/67)
21. UHY211 ... Not quite what it seems! UHY211 was a Daimler D650HS Freeline with a Heaver C41C body seen here at Victoria Coach Station with Monarch, Bristol to whom it was new in 1955. (Sat 10/6/61, London Victoria Coach Station)
22. VDH740 ... Seen here after withdrawal by Foster, Glastonbury. is VDH740, a Daimler D650HS Freeline with a Duple Elizabethan C41C body, which had been new in July 1955 to Central, Walsall. (Tue 27/7/71)
23. 120JRB ... Tailby & George (Blue Bus Services), Willington 120JRB is seen during the H.C.V.C. Rally. It was a Daimler D650HS Freeline with a Burlingham Seagull C37F body. (Sun 6/5/73, a Little Chef on the A23)
24. 120JRB ... Tailby & George (Blue Bus Services), Willington 120JRB is a Daimler Freeline D650HS with Burlingham Seagull C37F which was new to the company in June 1959 and which was sold directly into preservation in 1972. (Sat 5/7/69, leaving Gilwell Park, Chingford)

26. UVE101 ... To add to recent excellent Burwell & District photographs, here is UVE101 at the Little Eversden terminus awaiting return leg of route 3 to Drummer Street Bus Station, Cambridge. It was a rare combination of late Daimler Freeline D650H/S and early Plaxton Panorama C41F body which served purely the Burwell company for just over fifteen years from June 1959. 27. UVE101 ... New in June 1959, this Burwell and District Daimler Freeline D650H/S reg no. UVE101 was taken from the front nearside seat of an ENOC Bristol K on service 105 from Colchester to Walton in August 1959. (Fri 7/8/59, at the junction with The Street, Weeley, Essex)

29. XRW403 ... Coventry 403, XRW403, was a Daimler G6HS Freeline with a Willowbrook C41F body new in 1959. It was one of three, 401-403, which were painted in the coach livery of sky blue and cream between 1965/6 and December 1967 when they reverted to standard fleet colours of ivory and red.
