Former Cardiff 262, EBO919, was a BUT 9641T with Bruce bodywork (on an East Lancs frame), one of seven new in 1949, with further examples being added in 1950.
The original seating for these was H38/29D but in 1954 the front doors were sealed and panelled over and they became H38/29R, the front staircase being retained. 262, however, passed to the Cardiff Trolleybus Association in November 1968, for preservation. It was rebuilt back to H38/29D and painted into original livery by December 1969 before operating a series of tours over what remained of the system in January 1970. It has had a number of further owners in preservation and was undergoing restoration in June 2022.
