HBE513 was a Bristol LWL6B with an ECW FC35F body, new in May 1951 to Lincolnshire Road Car Co, no. 959. In 1953, as part of a company-wide scheme, it was renumbered 2059.
Withdrawn later in 1965, soon after this view was taken, it was sold in May 1966 to Twell, dealer, Ingham, who then resold it to Clugston, contractor, Scunthorpe in August 1966. It ran with Clugstonm until sold to Johnson, breaker, Bradford in March 1969.
In this view in Grantham Bus Station it keeps company with a Sheffield United coach, A Lincolnshire Bristol LS and a Lodekka, together with a variety of independents' coaches that, regrettably, I did not record at the time. Speculation as to the item on the front of the LWL will be welcome!
