Potteries, Stoke H449, NEH449, seen in the yard at Hanley Garage was a Leyland OPD2/1 which had been new as 449 with a Weymann B35F body in 1949.
In 1953 it had been renumbered to SN449 and then, in 1956, it was fitted with the Northern Counties H30/26RD body, which had been new in 1951, and which had previously been fitted to H68, CVT8.
