OKO34 was the last of fourteen Leyland PSU1/15 Royal Tigers, numbered CO273-286, with Leyland C37C bodies new to Maidstone & District delivered between May and July 1952, OKO34 being new in June as CO286.
In July 1961 it was renumbered to C286 as seen at Ascot Racecourse, and was withdrawn in 1966, passing to Transport (Passenger Equipment) Ltd., (dealer), Macclesfield in December 1966, and to Foster Wheeler-John Brown (contractor) in December 1966. It then passed to Lehane, Mackenzie & Shand (contractor), at Matlock in -/67 before finally passing to Wombwell Diesels (dealer), Wombwell in April 1969.
