Southdown 496, GUF396, was a Guy Arab II (5LW) with a Park Royal body which, when new in March 1946, was H30/26R.
It was converted to open top, as O30/26R in March 1952 and was fitted with a Gardner 6LW engine in May 1957. Seen here at Eastbourne Pier/Grand Parade, it was withdrawn in 1964, passing to Cowley (dealer), Salford in June.
