Barton, Chilwell 822, 822DNN, was a Leyland PS1/B with a Northern Counties FL33/30F body new in November 1959.
It used a reconstructed chassis which had started life in January 1948 as DRV155, a Leyland PS1 with a Duple C33F body, numbered 211 in the Triumph Coaches, Portsmouth fleet. The PS1 had passed, as such, in March 1950 to Lacey, London E.6, then to Doughty, Kings Lynn in December 1953 and to Yeates (dealer), Loughborough after withdrawal, in May 1959, by Doughty, before reaching Barton.
