Barton, Chilwell 725, RAL40, was a Barton BTS/1 with a Plaxton Venturer II FC37F body seen at the Chilwell Garage. It was fitted with a Leyland O/600 engine and had been re-constructed in February 1954 from Barton 499, JAL 616, a Leyland PS1/1 which had been new in October 1947 with a Brush DP39F body.
