Southdown, Brighton 149, CCD949, was a Leyland TD4c new in 1936 with a Beadle H28/24R body. The torque converter was removed in 1946, when it was fitted with a conventional gearbox and clutch, and it was rebodied in 1950 with an East Lancs H28/26R body, being seen in Pool Valley at Brighton.
