Theobalds of Long Melford, Suffolk used deckers on their main service from Sudbury to Glemsford. MWL987 was a 1948 AEC Regent lll (9612A-crash gearbox model) with Northern Coachbuilders lowbridge body, ex City of Oxford 129.
At that time buses used stops on both sides of Sudbury's Market Hill: Thursday's additional market day services made for a busy scene with a fascinating selection of vehicles.
