Sheffield United operated the very first Plaxton Panorama bodied coaches and 285, 3285WB, seen here in Waterdale, Doncaster was an AEC MU3RV Reliance with C41F body, new in February 1958, from the first delivery. It was one of six new that year between January and May (285-290, 3285-3290WB).
By the time of this photograph it had been fitted with a folding door although when new it had a single piece, front hinged, outward opening door and seated 36.
