United U741, LHN741D, a Bristol MW6G built in 1966 with ECW B45F bodywork.
One of the last batch of MWs purchased by United, when photographed the Bristol LHs and REs were already arriving. This was waiting in Bishop Auckland Market Place before going on the attractive run up to Teesdale's High Force on route 8.
