Seen at Holcombe Brook near Bury on a gloomy January day in 1975 is a former Halifax Albion Nimbus, RJX258, that was with its fourth local authority owner having been operated by Halifax, Warrington and Ramsbottom before joining the PTE fleet in 1969. Alongside is a former Bury Atlantean, REN104.

The Leyland Atlantean with Liverpool style MCW body was formerly 104 in the Bury fleet and was 6304 in the PTE fleet; it dated from 1963.
The Nimbus was originally 258 in the Hallifax fleet It was sold to Warrington in 1965 where it became 95 in their fleet. Ramsbottom bought it in 1967 and numbered it 12 while with the PTE it carried the number 6082. It dated from 1963 and carried a Weymann body.
