An illustrated guide to the postwar Leyland Titan

In 1964 CIE placed in service a number of Leyland Titan PD3A/6 with Park Royal bodywork in service. These were partially rebuilt from redundant Leyland Tiger PS1 saloons using their engine and gearbox. These were the last "live gearbox" double deckers to enter CIE service. R914, NZE623 loads in central Dublin in 1976. These buses proved unpopular with crews and were withdrawn before the earlier Titans with semi-automatic gearboxes
