UJH17 was one of five Bedford SBG with Duple C36F bodywork which were new to Ronsway Coaches Ltd, Hemel Hempstead between March and May 1955.
Subsequent known ownership for this one was RG, WT & T Wesley, Stoke Goldington 50 (June 1956), JE Sisson (Basford Transport Driving School), Bulwell (September 1959), WT Owen & Sons, Berriew (April 1961) and Mid Wales Motorways (1963) Ltd, Newtown (August 1969). It is recorded as having been withdrawn by Mid Wales in January 1970 but no subsequent history appears to be recorded. Seen here at Wembley, having brought supporters of Telford United, who were defeated on that occasion by Macclesfield Town 2-0 in the first ever FA Trophy final.
