A Towler & Sons Ltd, Brandon HCF361 was a Duple Elizabethan C41C bodied AEC Reliance MU3RV which had been new to BA, MA & BW Taylor (BA Taylor & Sons), Bildeston, in May 1955 and withdrawn in August 1963.
It was acquired by Towler in January 1964 and then saw further service with GE Dack (Rosemary Coaches). Terrington St Clement from March 1972 before being sold to Hibbins, Ramsey (dealer) in April 1974.
The occasion was a schoolboys international football match at which England defeated Scotland 2-0 before 35,000 spectators.
