London Borough of Barking DWC387 was a Bedford SB1 with Duple Super Vega C41F bodywork which had been new in August 1962 to the then Barking Borough Council (until April 1965).
It was given fleet number 3937 around 1966. Withdrawn in August 1975 it operated between October 1975 and February 1977 with Nash Clothing Company Ltd, Kirby Cross before being converted to a mobile home in March 1977. It was still listed by DVLA in August 2015. It was one of a pair built for Autoservico in Goa and was obtained from Vauxhall. It is not known whether the other one was exported or diverted elsewhere.
The occasion was a schoolboys football international in which England defeated Scotland 2-0 before 35,000 spectators.
