Liverpool E3, 116TMD, seen on loan to Southend, was an A.E.C. B3RA Bridgemaster with a Park Royal H45/31R body which was on loan from A.E.C. Limited during July and August 1959.
John's photograph, along with others, shows that the P.S.V. Circle Fleet History dates of July and August 1958 are incorrect bearing in mind also that it was new in December 1958. Originally delivered to Liverpool in January 1959, entry to service was delayed and A.E.C. used it as a demonstrator/loan vehicle until it finally entered service in Liverpool in October 1959.
See the other photo of 116TMD for a lot more discussion.
