York Bros, Northampton 89, NRP89F, was a Duple (Northern) Commander III C51F bodied AEC Reliance 6U3ZR which had been new in March 1968.
It passed to Errington (dealer), Leicester, in January 1980 and is recorded as being still there in March 1983. From 1943 the company had named its coaches after battleships, the name usually to be found at the rear of the vehicle. 89 was HMS Dreadnought. Seen here apparently awaiting the attention of a tyre fitter.
