Western Welsh 143, 143DBO, was one of four Leyland Leopard PSU3/3RT with Duple Northern Alpine Continental bodywork new in April and May 1963 as 140-143.
All four passed to Black & White Motorways, Cheltenham in September 1971, Black & White becoming National Travel South West in February 1974. In November 1974 they transferred to Wessex National, Bristol and were renumbered 450-453. 453 was licensed with Wessex in May 1975. After it was withdrawn it went, along with 451, to Martin (dealer), Middlewich in November 1975 and then on to Creamline Services, Tonmawr, in March 1976. Creamline licensed them in June 1976 and ran them until February 1979. They were returned to Martin (dealer), Middlewich in June 1979 and, by October 1979, they had passed to Goodwin (dealer), Carlton, for scrap. Creamline had also operated 450 between September 1976 and September 1978.
