A Westcliff Bristol K, one of six Bristol K6B or K5G with ECW L27/28R bodies, DHJ607-612 new in 1949, pictured after a nasty accident in March 1953.
It collided with the jib of an Army excavator on tow which had halted in the thick fog. The arm of the jib crashed 20 feet through the front windows of the upper deck injuring eight men who were taken to hospital including two who were trapped and had to be released by firemen and police with hacksaws.
