Walsall trolleybuses 871, XDH71 a Sunbeam F4A with Willowbrook H36/34RD body built in 1956 and 346, ADX195 a Sunbeam F4 with Park Royal H30/26R body which had been new to Ipswich Corporation in 1950 and acquired by Walsall Corporation in 1962.
871 seems to have come to some sort of grief in a rather awkward position leaving the Lower Farm Estate on its return to Walsall.
346 seems to have squeezed past the stricken 871, but how?
The conductor of 346 is seen replacing the booms on the overhead wiring but why? David seems to remember 346 squeezed by 871 with a bit of careful driving but I wonder?

My own theories are that 346 was able to pass 871 on traction batteries, did the ex Ipswich have them or, 346's booms were temporarily transferred to the outbound wires to get round the obstruction. Thoughts anyone?
David appears to have attracted the attention of three of the Lower Farm Estate children!
